FAQ

What is your Cancellation Policy?

You can cancel your escape adventure up to 24 hours in advance with a full refund of your deposit. If you cancel within the 24 hour mark we will refund your deposit onto a Funhaven gift card for future use at Funhaven!

What if I want to change my time or date?

You can reschedule your adventure at any time and your deposit will follow your booking.

What is the difference between a Funhaven Mission and Funhaven Adventure?

Funhaven offers two types of escape rooms, missions and adventures. An escape mission is a fast paced, 10 minute introductory escape experience. An escape adventure is full length 60-minute experience.

Are your rooms available in French?

Funhaven currently has 2 rooms that are fully bilingual: Rainforest Renegades. Some of the pre-recorded messages are english (but are not integral to the puzzles) and will still play when puzzles are solved. These rooms rely on symbols and physical interactions with puzzles, which can be performed in any language. Ripple creek has thematic messages drawn on the walls and 1 out of its 18 puzzles require some reading, but otherwise is not language dependant. Deep descent requires a large amount of reading in English and as such is not offered as a bilingual room.

Will other groups be booked in with us?

No! At Funhaven we understand that trying to escape with strangers can be awkward and may detract from your experience, so our bookings are always exclusive for your group!

Is there a minimum or maximum number of players in your rooms?

Rainforest Renegades has a minimum of 4 guests and a maximum of 8.

Deep Descent, Curse of the Forgotten and Ripple Creek have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 8.

Crystal Cave has a maximum of 6 guests.

Can families with young children do your escape rooms?

Our hour-long adventures are built with adults in mind, but are still enjoyable for children and families who are looking for a challenge. If your group is comprised of children, we recommend at least one adult player for help.

Our 10-minute missions are built with families in mind, but are still enjoyable for adult groups who are looking for a fast paced introductory escape experience.

Are Funhaven Escapes wheelchair accessible?

All of Funhaven Escapes’ rooms are fully wheelchair accessible, except Crystal Cave. Curse of the Forgotten and Deep Descent are the most suitable rooms as they have many puzzles that can be interacted with from a wheelchair. Rainforest Renegades and Ripple Creek are accessible, but feature tighter spaces. Overall, each room will require at least one mobile player for certain puzzles. We would not advise a player needing a wheelchair to play by themselves.
